My initial consultation time I do not charge for, but if your property/site is greater than a 25 mile radius of Petersfield, Hampshire I would ask for a contribution towards my travel costs.

During the consultation I would show your examples from my portfolio, and offer references from past clients. We would discuss your proposals. I will take notes to form a brief of your desired proposals. I will sketch out some ideas for a basis of our discussion. I would offer advice on how we can approach the design and maybe offer alternative ideas. I can offer advice on maximising spaces, desired specifications and estimate approximate build costs and what is achievable within your budget.

Following our initial consultation should you decide to appoint me: In the very first instance I would need to carry out a fully measured survey of the property. I would then prepare a set of survey drawings which will form part of the planning application set later. Please see the survey pages for examples of this stage of works.

Using the survey drawings we will meet and discuss your proposals in greater depth. I will submit detail sketch scheme ideas following our meeting. These sketches will form the basis for further meetings to get the design correct.

Once you have agreed on a design, and I am confident planning permission will be attained. I will then prepare a full set of planning application documentation consisting of: floor plans, elevations, site and location plans, a design statement and any other information such as an arboriculture report the local authority may require for your application.

I will then make the planning application on your behalf and act as your agent to see the project through the planning stage. My fees do not cover local authority charges for planning application, building regulations and the like. I would ask you pay the local authority directly these charges.

We do have a 100% success rate with our submitted planning applications.
